Once Upon a Teatime part 2

The scene fades from a full view of the castle to Serenity’s living room where she’s still sitting in the armchair with her cat Lucy on her lap and Maggie and Courtney sitting on pillows on the floor in front of their older friend.

Serenity: And they all lived Happily Ever After. The End.

Maggie: Wow, that story was really good. It’s also an interesting alternate twist from the clichéd “Love’s First Kiss” and the girl is saved by a guy.

Courtney: Yeah, it was interesting, I admit the Kitty Dwarfs sound cute. Though, how come the lack of a Prince Charming?

Serenity: Because of the simple reason that men are idiotic scum!

Maggie and Courtney: (Giggling)

Serenity: If there’s one thing I don’t want in my life, it’s a man. Plus who needs a prince when you can have dragons? Excuse me just one moment.

She takes Lucy off her lap while giving her a kiss then goes into the kitchen to check on the tea and desserts. Coming back a moment later.

Serenity: The desserts and tea are still not quite ready yet. So, how ‘bout another story?

Courtney: Yeah. You go next, Maggie.

Maggie: All righty.

The strawberry blonde takes Serenity’s place in the chair while Serenity sits on the throw pillow Maggie was occupying.

Maggie: Even though, I agree that men are scum, but they do have their good moments like in my story. Once upon a time…
